Rainer Maria Rilke

Somewhere the flower of farewell blooms and ceaselessly scatters its pollen, which we breathe; even in the winds that reach us first we breathe farewell

faust 2011

Happy is he who has the pure truth in him.
He will regret no sacrifice that keeps it.

People have forgotten how to relate or respond; what I'm trying to do with my movies is build something audiences can respond to.

aguirre the wrath of god 1972

You should look straight at a film; that’s the only way to see one. Film is not the art of scholars but of illiterates.” - Werner Herzog
All of Herzog’s films are just presented in this existential beautiful way. Nature is almost always a central theme in his movies and too top that off his dialogue is always so rich with thought provoking speech. With his films you never really know how good the movie is until after you finish watching it. I always feel something so overpowering after I watch a Herzog film that it reminds me why he is one of the greatest living filmmakers "today

"I dreamed I was a butterfly, flitting around in the sky; then I awoke. Now I wonder: Am I a man who dreamt of being a butterfly, or am I a butterfly dreaming that I am a man?

Setsuko Hara

She appeared in six of Yasujiro Ozu’s films. She is called “the Eternal Virgin” in Japan and is a symbol of the golden era of Japanese cinema of the 1950s  She suddenly quit acting in 1963 (the same year as Ozu’s death), and has since led a secluded life in Kamakura, refusing all interviews and photographs

Mad Men - At The Codfish Ball

In my opinion , I consider this episode  one of the best episodes of the whole show, the characters are developing in an impressive way The way in which the relationship between don and megan goes on makes you appreciate it's existence Considering the realistic progression of their feelings toward each other It is also interesting to see most of the show's characters reaching a certain point of awareness and maturity As if they reconsidered all what they were in the past through deep scenes and dialogues
